Rusty Keeley + Edward Jones
By: Claire Sauer
In July of 2019, our CEO, Rusty Keeley, had the honor of speaking to Edward Jones about Keeley Companies' Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives through #KeeleyCares and sharing his own personal stories to inspired Edward Jones employees as they kicked off their 2019 Campaign with the United Way of Greater St. Louis. Between two sessions, over 300 Edward Jones employees learned about #KeeleyCares and Rusty's contagious passion for giving back to our communities.
To begin the presentation, Rusty gave his keynote speech touching on four main points: Our Story, How to Create a Culture of Corporate Giving, Return on Investment, and Extending the Challenge to Edward Jones. After this inspiring presentation, Rusty took time for a Q&A with Edward Jones CEO, Penny Pennington. Penny asked Rusty about his history and passion for giving back. What started out as anonymous donations has turned into a lifelong mission for Rusty of being ALL IN when it comes to supporting the community. Finally, to end the sessions the crowd heard two inspiring stories from Edward Jones.
Both of these days sparked an amazing flame and encouraged others to get serious about giving back.
Edward Jones and the United Way have an amazing partnership and we can't wait to see what 2019 has in store! Their goals: raise $7 million, have at least 69% participation, and give 15,500 hours of service.
Edward Jones, you have Keeley Companies' full support and we are so excited to watch this partnership grow!
