Keeley'n Spotlight: Mary Sly

Giving back is at the heart of the Keeley Companies and has been since the beginning. #KeeleyCares, our Corporate Social Responsibility Program and one of our amazing cultural pillars, provides our Keeley'ns with the opportunities and resources to give back to their communities all over the United States. Our efforts continue to grow - in 2019 our Keeley'ns logged over 19,900 hours and donated $1.7+ million - and we are so lucky to have Mary Sly as Vice President of #KeeleyCares, leading the charge and engaging our Keeley'ns!

Mary discovered her passion for giving back at a young age through her family. As a child, Mary was always invited to join in any charitable opportunities that her family took part in. This was a beautiful example of the powerful impact giving back can have on your life and Mary continues to live that to her core. She and her family continue to live their lives for others, and giving back has truly shaped who Mary is.

Mary joined the Keeley Companies family in 2016 to help take #KeeleyCares to the next level. Rusty and Julie Keeley realized the benefit they received from giving back to their community. This motivated them to provide the same resources and opportunities to all Keeley'ns so they are able to support organizations they are passionate about across the country. #KeeleyCares has been so rewarding for so many people, and when Mary is asked what her favorite part is, she will tell you:

"The people - being able to work with all Keeley'ns the country is truly amazing. I love being able to really get to know their hearts and their goodness. We are filled with amazing people and it's good for the soul to see what we are made of. I truly believe that giving back to our communities is our whole purpose in life."

#KeeleyCares has experienced exponential growth over the past two years, and our team is so excited for the future and the impact #KeeleyCares will have across the country. In 2020, #KeeleyCares added nine new organization to our ever-growing wall of compassion.
