Keeley Companies Promotes John Regan to VP of Learning & Strategy

Keeley Companies’ unwavering dedication to their people has led to a strategic merging of teams to increase the effectiveness and efficiencies in serving all Keeley’ns. Keeley Companies is proud to promote John Regan to Keeley Companies’ VP of Learning & Strategy. In this role, John will expand his current impact, bringing his strategic planning expertise to Keeley’s Health & Wellness program (KeeleyLife), Diversity & Inclusion pillar (KeeleyOne), Learning & Development platform (KeeleyU), and Strategic Planning process (KeeleyWay), alongside their current respective leaders. John will work closely with April Lopinot, Chief People Officer, continuously developing our people and enhancing our culture.


The People Operations Group will consist of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and People Development. This streamlined department will ensure a smooth, world-class experience for the entire Keeley’n lifecycle, from recruitment through retirement, for Keeley Companies, Keeley Construction Group, Keeley Properties, and Keeley Restoration Services. The team also strategically serves other companies in Keeley’s capital investment portfolio.

Prior to becoming the VP of Learning & Strategy, John served as Keeley Companies’ VP of Learning & Professional Development. John led Keeley’s in-house learning and professional development platform, KeeleyU, bringing education and learning to Keeley’ns across the nation. KeeleyU is designed as a strategic people-related business investment, reaching all team members with learning and development opportunities, regardless of role or geography. KeeleyU proudly offers three learning modalities: Instructor-led sessions, a robust online learning management system (LMS), and on-site roadshows. John’s leadership forged a strong relationship with Maryville University, bringing custom, accredited certificate programs to Keeley Companies.


In addition to his role with KeeleyU, John facilitated strategic planning for Keeley Companies, leading to 20% YOY growth since 2006. John’s strategic planning expertise is invaluable and will continue to serve as a vital part of Keeley’s success. John also provides coaching and mentorship to leaders and team members across Keeley Companies, hosting one-on-ones to help others create their visions and provide coaching to help them reach their career goals.
