#KeeleyCares Champion Spotlight: Justin Naber

We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own Justin Naber has been named the AZ Business Angel of the Year AND Volunteer of the Year!

Justin Naber, Director of Business Development for Keeley Construction, selflessly gives his time, talent, and treasure to countless organizations. Justin joined Keeley Construction in 2016 and proudly serves on the #KeeleyCares committee, helping spread our mission that “Together We Make a Difference.” Every day, he spreads his passion for supporting his community and organizations to provide love & resources to the people that need and deserve it the most.

Since 2018, Justin has served as a Yellow Jacket Volunteer for Fiesta Bowl Charities. He is also the Committee Chair for Life Members, was named Committee Member of the Year in 2021, and has served in various Chair roles for their Charitable Giving Committee and many Corporate/Community Engagement – Hospitality and Game Operations Events. Justin is synonymous with Fiesta Bowl and his efforts continue to drive Fiesta Bowl’s mission, making a positive impact on the organization and community. The Fiesta Bowl’s vision is to be a world-class community organization that executes innovative experiences, drives economic growth, and champions charitable causes, inspiring pride in all Arizonans. In an effort to help enhance Arizona communities through youth, sports, and education, Fiesta Bowl Charities commits more than $3M in annual charitable giving. Over the last seven years, Fiesta Bowl Charities has donated more than $23M in charitable giving to nonprofit organizations across the state.

Justin also proudly supports Big Dig for Kids, having served on the Board for four years and Co-Chair of the annual Big Dig for Kids event. This event promotes healing for Phoenix Children’s Hospital patients while sparking curiosity for construction, raising over $2M. Justin helps plan the event, fundraise, and recruits volunteers to run the Keeley Construction tent. This is truly a one-of-a-kind event and one that Justin looks forward to every single year.

“Being a dad, I am passionate about investing my time and talents for Phoenix Children’s to fundraise and assist in the significant support for medical treatments for local children diagnosed with pediatric cancer. The MIBG Targeted Radiotherapy Program is a type of radiation therapy used to kill cancer cells in children and our Big Dig for Kids Committee is helping fund this breakthrough treatment to be the first of its kind in the southwest and the entire state of Arizona!”

Through Keeley’s 501(c)(3) foundation, #KeeleyCares, Justin is also an avid supporter of St. Mary’s Food Bank. Justin has been giving back to the food bank for over 9 years, attending emergency food packing drives at least once per quarter and donating over 50 hours of his time per year. Justin loves supporting the St. Mary’s team, volunteers, and community partners to bridge the gap for Arizona families to receive nourishment by gathering and distributing goods at regular food drives. Justin knows how important it is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to receive a meal and maintain their health!

Justin is also involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, Vitalant Blood Bank, and Junior Achievement. Through #KeeleyCares, Justin has donated over 100 hours per year over the last five years to countless organizations.
